Maria is an adult nurse practitioner at BJC Medical Group at Missouri Baptist. She practices internal medicine with a focus in diabetes and weight loss. She graduated with her bachelors of science in nursing from Truman State University in 2004 and her masters degree in nursing from UMSL in 2009. She has a passion for disease prevention and health promotion. She has published multiple peer reviewed articles on these topics as well as presented locally, regionally and nationally. She was chosen as BJC's Mid-level Provider of the Year this year.
